Aalborg, Denmark 3/29/98 Dear genealogist For the last 15 years I have been searching for my family in the States. A fortnight ago I got some old letters from a relative in Denmark. The letters were written 1927 - 1934, so I have not heard from my relatives since the letter from 1934. Jens Jacob Andersen Lund, travelled from Denmark to USA before 1900, he was born in Jutland (Denmark). He often writes back to Denmark from Muskegon and he has these children that I know of. 1. Ansgar Lund - and his children (worked at Browne Morse C.) 1.1 Harry Lund 2. Sofus Lund and his children (had some kind of car-sale, I think?) 2.1 Barbra Lund 3.Hannah Lund married Rice and her children. She had a fashionboutique for men in the 1930´ties) 3.1 Jean Rice 3.2 Jack Lund (also called Jack Rice), have You ever heard about this family called Rice or anyone who knows anything about them ? 4. Karl Lund and his children (Karl was a dentist in Muskegon) 4.1 a girl born ? 4.2 another girl born 1928 (had a son died in 1928 in july-august or september ?) Hannah (born Lund) Rice, who was married to Henry Rice, born 1893 and died in december 1976. Her husband born 1890 and died in November 1979, both in Muskegon. I´m not 100% sure that the dates are right !! What happened to their children Jean and Jack, and did they have other children that I do not know of ?? One letter is written on some paper from Browne Morse Compagny and Ansgar A. Lund worked at the factory as a designer and price fixer in 1928. He was married to Rose/Rosa Lund. I also have a letter from 1887 written by Jacob Lund, when he had just arrived to Amerika. About myself: my ancestor was Severin A. Lund, born 1853 in Jutland, Denmark and he was my great-great grandfather and he was a brother to Jens Jacob Andersen Lund, born the 25th of July 1864. I am 29 years old and I live in a town called Aalborg in Jutland. It has about 150.000 inhabitants and is the third biggest town in Denmark. I am working as a teacher at a public school and is married to Marlene Hansen, and we have a daughter together - Marie Josephine Didia Lønholdt, born 1995 in Aalborg. Yours sincerely Rene´ Didia Lønholdt (in english Lonholdt) Bogogade 16 st th. 9000 Aalborg, Denmark, Europe Phone: 98 77 05 51 and E-mail: didia.lonholdt@get2net.dk

My gggrandfather, John Oliver McNabb lived in Muskegon Heights from about 1910 till his death in 1924. He was a Justice of the Peace. His father's name was Robert McNabb, and his mother's was Prudence(Parsons)McNabb. Does anyone have any information on his parents? They were originally from Pennsylvania, and then Indiana. Also, I just found out that my ggrandmother, John Oliver McNabb's daughter-in-law, also lived in Muskegon for a time. I know she was there in July of 1922. I believe she was possibly married to a Mr. W.W. Williams. Or else she lived at his boarding house.I have a letter from that address, but it is difficult to make out. It looks like it may say, 14 St. & Shell Street. Does any of that sound familiar? Her name was Estella Belle (May). Her first husband was Robert William McNabb,my Great grandfather. I would appreciate any information anyone may have. Sorry, this was so long. Thanks.
