Mrs. Wheeler Syers

>From the Muskegon Chronicle, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 1918, pg. 3

WHITEHALL - Feb. 27 - Mrs. Wheeler SYERS, wife of one of the leading citizens of Blue Lake township, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. Nichols, here in Whitehall, Saturday forenoon. Pneumonia was the cause of death. Mr. Syers has a son who is critically ill, as well.

(Note: Her first name was Carrie and we believe her maiden name to be FRANCISCO. Nothing else is known about her people. There is a family Bible associated with her side of the family but she is not mentioned in it and we don't know how she was related to the FRANCISCOs and LAURENCEs listed inside. The Bible was issued by the bishop of Peterborough, Ontario in the middle of the 19th century.)
