Apple Street School


The Apple Street School building was located on the the present site of Angell School.


Froebel School

Froebel School was located two blocks north of the present Froebel School,
between Marquette Avenue and Cross Street, and Wood and Erickson Streets.


This High School was located at the present site the Fire Department occupies across from the County Building on Apple Avenue.


Pillsbury School


Pillsbury School was located on Apple Avenue between Ambrosia and Spring Streets, which is the current site of Baker College.


Ransom Street School


The Ransom Street School was located on the the present site of McLaughlin School.


Union School


The Union School was located on the the present site of Hackley School. This building burned down on December 14, 1890, after which Charles Hackley donated funds to build the present Hackley School.
